5th Annual Free Dentistry Day in Hamilton

Thank You, Hamilton – Free Dentistry Day 2025 Was a Success!

Century Stone Dental would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on October 4, 2025, for our annual Free Dentistry Day in Hamilton.

From 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, our team was honoured to provide free cleaningsfillings, and extractions to members of our local Hamilton community who needed dental health care the most. The turnout was incredible, and the smiles we saw reminded us why we do what we do.

This special day wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity and teamwork of our partner practices — Hamilton Mountain Dental Group, Gateshead Dental, and Orchard Park Dental — whose staff helped make dental care more accessible for local families.

A dental office in Hamilton opened its doors to those in need today.

Starting at 8 this morning, the team at Century Stone Dental took patients on a first-come, first-served basis for free dental care.

They’ve been running free dentistry days since 2020 and say they’re seeing a need in the community for affordable care.

“We do this every year. It’s just a way to give back.

As dentists, we often see people having issues paying for their care, and that’s why the Canadian Dental Care Plan has come in because they realize that gap is there, so it’s helping for sure, but there’s still people that don’t quite qualify, and that’s who the day is there for, for anyone who really needs it.

Probably the most like humbling thing that happens you see the amount of people that are lined up that are needing this kind of help, and the team just feels like it’s our purpose that we’re here to start giving back, and it’s really exciting to see these people come in and need help with us.”

Free Dentistry Day ran until 2 this afternoon with the help of volunteers from Gateshead Dental, Orchard Park Dental, and Hamilton Mountain Dental Group.

Dr. Christopher Sims says they plan to continue the initiative on an annual basis.
